Just a Sunday in Takoma Park, making community around art. Today Vocal Takoma gathered in the space in front of People's Book for a 'People's Poetry' open mic event. Good thing, since it was pretty packed over at our usual clock tower spot, where the Free DC folks were also holding court. I didn’t play today, it was a bit chilly for my acoustic guitar (I did do one song a cappella just to challenge myself), but I took pictures.
